Biography Of Ekta Choudhry:

Ekta Choudhry is the winner of the prestigious Pantaloons Femina Miss India Universe 2009 title. She was the winner of the pageant along side Pooja Chopra. Pooja Chopra and Shriya Kishore won the Miss India World and Miss India Earth titles respectively. She will represent India at the Miss Universe 2009 competition on August 23, 2009 in Nassau, Bahamas.

Ekta's national costume for the Miss Universe 2009 pageant has been designed by fashion designer Ritu Kumar while her evening gown was created by designers Gauri and Nainika.

Choudhry was born in Baghdad, where her father had worked as a civil engineer and he remained in Iraq until the start of the US-led invasion in 2003.
